Nearly 150 huts were gutted in a fire in Parlovapeta area on the outskirts of Kakinada city on Friday evening, police said.Personnels of Kakinada Fire Office and a rescue team from the nearby Nagarjuna Fertilizers unit rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, police said, adding, the fire spread quickly because the area is close to the coast.
