Indian Coast Guard ship C-411, a frontline ship in the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) North West Region, while on patrol near the Indo-Pakistan International Maritime Boundary Line off Jakhau, apprehended a Pakistani fishing boat ‘Al Shenaz’ after it intruded into the Indian waters.The boat was approximately 30 nautical miles west off Jakhau coast and had about 3,000kg fresh fish. After being spotted by the ICG ship, the crew members of the Pakistani fleet removed its nest and tried to return to the Pakistani waters, but apprehended by the ICG, who carried out a thorough investigation.<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>The ICG apprehended all 11 crew, including master (Ali Asgar), all of Pakistani nationality for allegedly violation of the Maritime Zones of India Act. The impounded boat has been handed over to the local police authority at Jakhau. A joint investigation by the Central and state agencies will be carried out at Jakhau.
