A local Congress leader was on Tuesday booked under section 377 of IPC (unnatural offences) for allegedly sodomising the eight-year-old son of his domestic help, police said.According to police, the case was registered against Rupendra Patel (55), a former district rural president, after the domestic help approached Kotwali police station on Tuesday.”Patel, who is married, allegedly sodomised the kid half-a-dozen times in the past and also a fortnight back, which left him bleeding,” Kotwali police station in-charge Praful Srivastava said quoting the complaint lodged by the minor’s mother.<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>The woman, a local, used to bring her son to Patel’s house since she was employed by him, police said.”Police today registered a case against the accused under various sections of IPC including 377, and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act.
