<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>Army sources on Friday clarified that the videos of the Indian Army casualties shown by Pakistani media were morphed and doctored and called it ‘black propaganda’.Reports on Thursday said that Pakistan military claimed to have killed eight Indian soldiers and captured one while retaliating to India’s firing at the first line of defence at the Line of Control (LoC) at Tatta Pani. However, the Indian Army had immediately rejected reports in a section of Pakistani media as ‘false and baseless’ “Few Pakistani channels are playing morphed/doctored video clips showing Indian Army casualties. The same is also circulating on social media,” said Army sources. “It is clarified that these are fake and example of ‘Black Propaganda’,” they said.Meanwhile, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that all attempts were being made to secure the release of an Indian soldier, who inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan.Singh said the government had taken note of the reports which stated that an Indian soldier was being held captive in Pakistan. Army sources said that one soldier from 37 RR with weapon has inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan side of LoC in Mendhar Sector and Pakistan was informed of this by the DGMO on the hotline.Sources also said that one member of the team involved in the surgical operations received minor injury during exfiltration. There was no injury as a result of any enemy or terrorist action.On Thursday, the DGMO said that India had carried out surgical strikes on seven terror launch pads across the LoC with the Army inflicting “significant casualties” on terrorists preparing to infiltrate from PoK.
